This is an elegant
Nagoya obi with 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum) and "Karabana"(imaginary Chinese flower) 'Karakusa'(arabesque) and 'Kaede'(maple leaf) on 'Matsukawa-bishi'(pine bark diamond) design, which is embroidered and dyed.
'koma'( outlining embroidery work) is added to the lots of gold glazing design.
Textile is exquisite silk and has light touch.
It is sewn as hiraki-shitate(opened tailoring).
It has a stain of 3cm(1.18in) size next to the right side of 'maegara' (front pattern on belly). (2nd flaw photo)
The stain are not noticeable.
However, when you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right (Rotate obi clockwise), it will be hidden.
Although there is no photo of it, it has seven fray like whitish flaws on upper 'otaiko'(square bow), that could be hidden when you tie it.
It also has some other flaws such as folding lines.
For the details, please refer to the photos and figure.
Though it has some flaws, it is still wearable enough.
Please enjoy its elegant fashion!
