This is an amazing hitoe(not lined) Bashofu kimono with rustic pattern, which is woven.
Bashofu is known to be the top quality summer kimono in Japan and the oldest fabric in Okinawa.
It needs more than 40 Bashofu threads to weave a bolt of fabric.
It is woven glamorous tiny stripe pattern on the base.

Textile has crisp touch.
The collar is hiro-eri(unfolded collar), and this is hand sewn.
Silk fabric is attached on the collar lining.
It has neither kata-ate(shoulder pads) nor ishiki-ate(lining fabric around hip part).

Basting stitches remain and it seems to be just after cleaning.

The stains on right front sleeve are not noticeable.
It has prominent discoloration on the collar end.
The discoloration on "sebuse"(fabric which covers back center seam) are original color, not flaw.
For the detail, please check figures and photos.

However, it still is a very valuable piece to own!
Please enjoy the characteristic texture of Bashofu!
