This is a tasteful Tsume tsuzure Nagoya obi with 'botan'(peony), 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum) and 'Kaede'(maple leaf) on clouds design, which is woven.
The design with a lot of gold foil thread has gorgeous atmosphere.
Textile is tsuzure silk, and has rather stiff touch.
It also has "Hatsurikou" (small gap in the boundaries of colors), which is the distinctive feature of Tsume tsuzure weave.

'Maegara' (front patterned part) is on one side.
When you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), Maegara will show.

It was woven amazingly with "Tsume Tsuzure" technique. One thread by one thread, elaborately with nails.
It takes incredibly long time to complete. It has special kind of comfortable and medium touch of Tsume tsuzure silk.

There is no folding lines and it seems to be unworn one.
Although there is no photo of it, it has a brownish stain on the left upper 'otaiko'(square bow).
The stain is tiny (that is about 1mm(0.03in)-2mm(0.07in)), so it seems to be not noticeable.

It is in very good condition as a whole.
Please enjoy its tasteful fashion!
