This is an elegant Fukuro obi with 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum) and 'kiri'(paulownia) on diamond pattern, which is woven.
Gold and silver threads woven in the pattern and background are gracefully shining.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
It has lining inside, but it is rather soft.
It was woven by Kawashima Weaving Co., one of the most famous obi weavers on 'taresaki'(end of wide part).

It has patinas and discolorations on the plain part, but they will be hidden when tied.
The frays on both corners are not so bothering.
It has folding lines.
