This is a precious vintage Hon-Fukuro Obi by Heizo Tatsumura.
It has 'shippou-tsunagi' (interlocking circles) and 'Karabana' (imaginary flower in China) on ichimatsu(checkerboard) pattern, which is woven.
Its distinctive hue and design will be distinguished to be made by Heizo at a glance.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
On the tare end, it is woven as "Heizo Tastumura".
Though it has snags in places, they are not so noticeable.
It has some other flaws such as folding lines and tiny patinas.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
*It has slight musty smells.
Though it has some flaws, this is a gorgeous one!
