This is a supreme uchikake from Taisho period(1912-1925) or early Showa period.
It has interesting 'tennyo'(angel) and old fisherman motifs, which is dyed with yuzen technique. Some parts are added fine embroidery.
What an unique and skilled yuzen work it is! Please enjoy fantastic details with more photos.
Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft touch.
It has pin holes, tears in the bottom, snags, stains and patinas as photo show, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
We highly recommend this fantastic yuzen uchikake!
