This is a kimono fabric cut into Furisode shape and stitched roughly before sewing to make Furisode . Kimono is made of a bolt of cloth which is 14.2" in width.
This Furisode has cheerful shibori (tie-dyed) pattern.
Crysanthemums and pine trees are richly embroidered.
Textile is silk with damask effect, and has soft and smooth touch.
There are slight patina and some stains, but as a whole this karinui is still in a very good condiition.
It will be a great material for your handicraft!
