This is a kimono silk fabric cut into houmongi shape and stitched roughly before sewing to make houmongi. Kimono is made of a bolt of cloth which is 14.2" in width.
This houmongi has elegant flowers and noshi motifs, which are dyed with yuzen technique.
Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft touch.
It has stains, small patinas and slight smudges in the hems. However, as a whole it is in very good condition.
