This is a fabulous shibori kimono from pre WWII.
Chrysanthemum motif is dyed dramatically with shibori technique. Textile is rinzu, silk with damask effect, and has very soft and comfortable touch. Its rinzu pattern is unique - waving line, chrysanthemum and butterfly are woven in large size ( large size rinzu is one of the feature of kimono from pre WWII ).
It has graceful long sleeves and red silk lining.
It has small or slight stains and wear, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
