This is a kimono silk fabric cut into houmongi shape and stitched roughly before sewing to make houmongi. Kimono is made of a bolt of cloth which is 14.2" in width.
This houmongi has elegant flowers and noshi motifs, which is dyed with yuzen technique.
Textile is rinzu, silk with damask effect, and has soft touch.
It has slight discoloration, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
