This is a kimono silk fabric cut into houmongi shape and stitched roughly before sewing to make houmongi. Kimono is made of a bolt of cloth which is 14.2" in width.
This houmongi has beautiful shading pattern, which is dyed. Textile is exqusite silk, and has very soft touch.
It has some patina, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
