This is a kimono silk fabric cut into houmongi shape and stitched roughly before sewing to make houmongi. Kimono is made of a bolt of cloth which is 14.2" in width.
This houmongi has exotic 'karabana'(imaginary flower in China) pattern, which is dyed.
Textile is exqusite silk, and has very soft touch.
It has a slight discoloration in the back near the bottom. But as a whole it is in very good condition.
