This is a kimono silk fabric cut into houmongi shape and stitched roughly before sewing to make houmongi. Kimono is made of a bolt of cloth which is 14.2" in width.
This houmongi has elegant bird, flowers and wave motifs, which are dyed with yuzen technique.
Textile is exqusite silk, and has very soft touch.
It has a stain and slight smudges in the hems, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
It must be an excellent material for your handicraft!
