This is a kimono fabric cut into houmongi shape and stitched roughly before sewing to make houmongi. Kimono is made of a bolt of cloth which is 14.2" in width.
This houmongi karinui has elegant flower pattern, which is woven.
Textile is silk and has very soft touch.
It has slight discoloration(partly prominent) all over it. But it will be an excellent material for handicraft.
