This is a cotton nagoya obi from mid-Showa period.
It has charming 'manju-giku'(manju shaped chrysanthemum) motif, which is woven.
It has textured and comparatively stiff touch.
It has a folding line in the middle, some slight stains, and several wrinkles on this item.
However as a whole it is in very good condition.

Nagoya obi needs some accessories to complete the square bow in a traditional style.
