This is a vintage maru obi from Pre WW2.
It has classic kiku(chrysanthemum) pattern, which is woven.
Textile is silk and synthetic blend, and has textured and soft touch.
This item is slightly smudged all over, and prominently smudged at around the middle area.
The corners of both ends of this obi are slightly worn out.
It has a folding line in the middle(two-thirds of the whole length), and slightly frayed along the folding line.
Still it will be a good material for your handicraft.
