This is a silk fukuro obi from mid-Showa period. It has attractive mandarin duck & flower patterns, which are woven elaborately. It has textured and soft touch. There are some frayed spots in places, and slight folding line in the middle. Gold threads are slightly worn out. Both ends of this obi are open, and there is no stiff lining inside. If you prefer a stiff obi and would like us to insert the lining, additional $40-$50 is needed. As a whole it is in very good condition. *Approx background color - Black Softness ( Exceptionally Soft, Soft, Medium, Comparatively Stiff, Stiff ) Description: Sasai |
