This is a vintage maru obi from Pre WW2. It has refined kiku (chrysanthemum) & folding fan pattern, which is woven tastefully. Its weaving technique is called 'koukechi'. It has textured and dry touch. It is slightly smudged on this item. There are several slight small smudge in 30cm-11.8"length(37cm-14.6" from one end), and a small snag at 60cm-23.6" from another end. Both ends have slight discoloration and a wrinkle.
