This is a silk fukuro obi from mid-Showa period. It has tasteful crane pattern, which is woven gorgeously. It has textured and soft touch. It has a prominent folding line in the middle. There are some slight small patinas on the white patterned part, some slight small frayed spots in places, and some parts are slightly worn out. Both ends of this obi are open, and there is no stiff lining inside. If you prefer a stiff obi and would like us to insert the lining, additional $40-$50 is needed. Still it will be a good material for your handicraft. *Approx background color - Gold Softness ( Exceptionally Soft, Soft, Medium, Comparatively Stiff, Stiff ) Description: Sasai |
