This is a silk fukuro obi from mid-Showa period.
It has tasteful ribbon pattern, which is woven elaborately.
It has textured and soft touch.
There are several small stains & some slight small patinas on this item, and the corners of both ends of this obi are slightly worn out.
It has a prominent folding line in the middle(two-thirds of the whole length), and some wrinkles & a small smudge on the solid part.
The wrong side has many slight small patinas all over as well.
Still it will be a good material for your handicraft.
