This is a gorgeous maur obi from pre WWII. It has beautiful classic pattern, which is woven intricately. This piece has cranes, fan, chrysanthemum and other traditional motifs. Lots of gold threads are used, and it has exceptinionlly luxurious atmosphere.
Textile is silk and jinken(rayon) blend, and has comparatively stiff touch.
It has some slight patina in the background parts at places, a slight folding line and some wrinkles, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
