This is a silk fukuro obi from mid-Showa period(Showa:1926-1989). It has eye-catching bisha-kikko (three interlocking-tortoiseshell) pattern, which is woven. It has smooth and soft touch. Solid part seems to be slightly discolored in the first 60cm-23.4"length. It has a few snags in 43cm-16.8"length from another end(not on photo). Also there are some wrinkles on this item. Both side hems are slightly discolored. As a whole it is in very good condition. Both ends of this obi are open, and there is no stiff lining inside. If you prefer a stiff obi and would like us to insert the lining, additional $40-$50 is needed.
