This is a silk
fukuro obi from mid-Showa period.
It has sophisticated kiku (chrysanthemum) and kiri(paulownia) with karakusa(arabesque) patterns, which are woven elaborately.
It has textured and soft touch.
There is no stiff lining inside. If you prefer a stiff obi and would like us to insert the lining, additional $40-$50 is needed.
It has a folding line in the middle, and seems to have discoloration all over on the silver background. There are a few slight small smudges on the solid part, and some snags on the patterned part.
Still it will be a good material for your handicraft.
*Approx background color - Silver
Softness ( Exceptionally Soft, ¡ıSoft, Medium, Comparatively Stiff, Stiff )
