This is a silk haori from mid-Showa period. It has impressive kikko (tortoiseshell) with flower motif, which is dyed with shibori(tie-dye) technique over fine kanoko shibori pattern. It has rough and soft touch. Matching haori ties are attached. Lining textile is polyester. It has a small scorched hole on the left chest, and its lining has approx 5 slight small patinas. However as a whole it is in very good condition. *Approx background color - Purple HTML code (532F4B)
