This is a silk fukuro obi from mid-Showa period. It has impressive kikko (tortoiseshell) with butterfly, paulownia, & crane pattern, which is woven elegantly. It has textured and soft touch. It has a slight folding line in the middle, and also a few snags (on the patterned part) and a slight wear (on the middle area; near one side hem). However as a whole it is in very good condition. *Approx background color - Black Softness ( Exceptionally Soft, Soft, Medium, Comparatively Stiff, Stiff ) Description: Tagawa
