This silk fukuro obi is from mid-showa period (showa: 1926-1989). It has pine tree on rocky hilltop with fast wind stream pattern, which is woven elaborately. Textile is silk, and it has soft and slightly textured touch. There is a slight folding line in the middle going 1/2 length. One end is not sewn, and doesn't have stiff lining inside. If you prefer a stiff obi and would like us to insert the lining, additional $40-$50 is needed. There are slight patinas near the other end. However, as a whole, it is in very good condition.
