This is a reddish purple shibori(tie-dye) haori from mid-Showa period. It has charming kiku (chrysanthemum) and bamboo fence motifs, which are dyed with shibori(tie-dye) technique. It has textured and soft touch. Matching haori ties are attached. It seems to have some slight patinas on the white part and the both haori ties. Regarding the lining, it has slight discoloration and slight small patinas all over. Still it will be a good material for your handicraft. *Approx background color - Reddish Purple HTML code (AC456C)
