This is a women's haori from mid-Showa period(Showa:1926-1989). It has a detailed 'yabane'(arrow feather) motif pattern, which is dyed with shibori technique. shibori is Japanese tie dyeing technique, and it gives the textile such an unique texture. Textile is silk and has soft touch. There are some patina in the lining but as a whole, it is in very good condition. *Approx background color - HTML code ( DA1C44)
