This is a sakiori hanhaba obi, which is considered to be from pre WW2.
Sakiori is a traditional Japanese technique of rag weaving.
The rag strips are cut finely and woven into a tweed-like fabric.
This piece has colorful stripe pattern.
It has slight discoloration in the first 45cm-17.7"length.
However as a whole it is in very good condition.
