This is a fantastic
Furisode from Meiji period(1868-1912).
What a fine
yuzen and embroidery work it is! Kicho, butterfly, misu, chrysanthemum, peony, royal cart and other motifs are dyed elaborately and many parts are added fine embroidery. Its fine work is the feature of kimono from Meiji period(1868-1912). Please enjoy its details with more photos.
Textile is plain silk and has soft touch.
It has a tiny hole in the back, and some small stains. Stitches in the both underarm are coming off. But as a whole it is in very good condition in spite of its old age ( it is from 100 years ago!)
We highly recommend this charming red furisode!
