This is a graceful antique maru obi from Meiji period(1868-1912). It has sophisticated pine tree and flying cranes motif, which is woven finely. Its design is exceptionally tasteful and elegant. Textile is exqusite silk, and has very soft touch. Unfortunately it has a tear in the end( in the and hem) of the both sides. There are several very small stains and slight folding line. But as a whole it is in very good condition. It is more beautiful than photos show. We highly recommend this graceful antique maru obi! *Approx background color - HTML code ( F7D28B)
