This is a vintage kurotomesode, most formal kimono for married women.
It has artistic 'kaioke' (a hexagonal container to store clam shells, which are used ancient shell matching game - 'kaiawase' ), royal cart and flowers pattern, which is dyed with yuzen technique. Its design is very elegant and impressive. Textile is exqusite silk, and has very soft touch.
Black color is very slightly discolored, and there are some small patina and small smudges. Lining has some tears and stains ( and patina).
But as a whole it is in very good condition.
