This is a valuable fukusa, which is woven elaborate tsume tsuzure technique. Cranes, pine tree and sun are woven one thread by one thread, and it must be taken incredibly long time to be completed.
It has two prominent stains in both sides. There also are several small stains in the center part. Kamon of the other side has some patina. But it is still valuable and charming piece! |
