This is a vintage Kurume kasuri futon cover.
It pattern is exceptionally unique - shishi on the drum and geometric pattern were hand woven ( double ikat). Please check its unique details with more photos.
Textile has medium thickness ( slightly thick), and has beautiful deep blue color background.
It is lined with dark blue cotton.
Kasuri part has some slight stains mainly in the geometric parts. There is a small hole very near the hem. As a whole it is in very good condition. |
