This is a uchishiki(fabric for Buddist altar). It has cheerful kiku(chrysanthemum) pattern, which is woven.
Both have heavy stains at both wide blank corners(holes in a bigger one), and several holes at the back.
The smaller one has a small burnt mark. But it will be a partly excellent material for your handicraft.
