This is a very unique hand woven vintage kasuri.
It has beautiful geometric and katakana characters motif, which were hand woven elaborately.
Characters read 'Yoshikawa', which seems to be the name of the owner. Geometric pattern is not even. It must be because the weaver was the ordinary women in rural district. It was not woven by professional weaver.
Thickness is comparatively thick, and has soft touch.
It has several stains, and some small holes very near the ends ( as photo shows). But as a whole it is in very good condition.
