This is a kimono fabric cut into houmogi shape and stitched roughly before sewing to make houmongi. Kimono is made of a bolt of cloth which is 14.2" in width.
This houmongi has elegant flowers, birds and fan motifs, which are dyed with yuzen technique. Its yuzen work is graceful and artistic.
It has some patina and stains, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
It must be an excellent material for your handicraft!
