This is an exceptionally rare and beautiful design kimono from pre WWII.
It has bold sail ship motif in the bottom, and in the rest part 'takarazukushi'(collection of treasures) motifs are dyed all over it.
We sometimes come across the sail ship motif, but we have never seen the design like this piece.
Textile is rinzu, silk with damask effect, and has very soft touch.
It has some slight or small stains, and wear in the lepel. But as a whole it is in very good condition.
We highly recommend this rare design kimono.
