This is a fantastic kasuri cotton fabric.
It is considered to be from Yumigahama, and from pre WWII. Its unique 'tourou'(garden lantern), stream and flying cranes motif are hand woven ( yokoso -weft ikat).
Background color is fantastic deep natural ai color. Thickness is medium(enough thickness) and has very soft touch.
It is longer ( approx twice compared to other futon cover fabrics), so above price is for it.
It has a few stains. But as a whole it is in very good condition.
