This is a vintage happi. It is made of comparatively thic cotton, and dyed with beautiful ai colors.
Kanji character reads 'Murai', which seems to be the name of compamy or village.
This is considered to be from mid Showa period( Showa:1926-1989) or earlier. And its size is comparativel big, and I can wear it. ( Old happi coat is ordinarly small for us.)
It has some discoloration and flaws, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
