It is fabulous 'yokoso'(weft ikat) patterned kasuri, which is hand dyed and hand woven. It is considered to be Yumihama-Gasuri. Yumihama kasuri is made in Sanin district, which is the one the famous ikat producing district.
The interesting patterns are some treasures and tiger
& bamboo. Tiger does not look fierce at all but
the fabric is full of charms of handmade.
It has several small holes(pin hole size ones and a
little bigger than pin hole size).
