This is a high-end maru obi from pre WWII. It has bold peacock and flowers motifs, which is woven elaborately. Lots of gold threads are used, and backgroud is also woven with gold threads(kintoshi).
Please enjoy its gorgeous details with more photos.
Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft touch.
It has a slight folding line(and slight fray there), and a few very slight stains. As a whole it is in very good condition.
We highly recommend this fabulous maru obi.
