This boy's miyamairi kimono is from pre WWII, and very unique samurai motif, which is dyed with yuzen technique. We sometimes come across the samurai motif miyamari kimono, but this picture is exceptionally unique and artistic. Some parts are added embroidery.
Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft touch.
It has some stains or patina, and stitches of right underarm is coming loose. But as a whole it is in very good condition.
