This is a vintage noragi (farmer's work wear) from Tohoku district. It is made of Yokote kasuri, which has beautiful fine geometric pattern. Textile has fabulous natural ai dyed color, and soft touch ( it is thick ). This kasuri must have been woven by farmer's wife one thread by one thread.
It is lined with stripe pattern cotton, and sashiko stitches are done.
It has tears in the both chest, and several tears in the shoulder of the back. It also has several small holes in other parts, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
