This is a vintage noragi(famer's work wear) from Tohoku district. In Tohoku district, main textile was 'asa'(Japanese hemp) in spite of its cool weather in old days. This piece is made of thick 'asa'(Japanese hemp) and dyed with ai, and has well worn ai color. Many parts are torn, but its texture is very charming. It has special kind of crispy touch of asa.
