This is a vintage uchishiki, fabric for Buddhist altar. This piece has exotic cranes and cloud motif, which are elaborately embroidered. Its embroidery is exceptionally beautiful and valuable.
Textile is felt.
Unforatunately it has many holes mainly around the hems, and a stain in the crane.
But it is still valuable piece for its fantastic embroidery.
