This is an antique fukusa from Meiji peirod ( 1868-1912). It is made of valuable chirimen silk, and has elegant fan and chrysanthemum pattern, which is dyed with yuzen technique vividly.
It has tears in the hems, and a few tiny holes near the pattern. The other side has a few tiny holes and stains. But as a whole it is in very good condition.
