This is a vintage kasuri cotton fabric pre WWII. Its beautiful double ikat pattern - bamboo, ume blossom , pine tree and geometric pattern is hand woven elaborately.
It is considered to be from Iyo(Shikoku) district.
Geometric parts are very slightly smudged. But as a whole it is in very good condition, and will be an excellent material for handicraft. |
