This is a supreme girl's miyamairi kimono from pre WWII. It is made of exceptionally soft kinsha chirimen ( very fine crepe). We wish you could touch it!
It is dyed with graceful purple and pale sky colors, which is very unqiue and impressive. Bird and flowers ( especially cherry blossom is impressive) are dyed gracefully. Please enjoy the its beautiful colors.
In the end of the belt it has beautiful paper crane motif embroidery.
It has some slight stains, and snags, and a tiny hole in the lapel. But as a whole it is in very good condition.
We are looking for child kimono always, but we rarely come across supreme piece like this one!
