This is a vintage kasuri kimono made of 'asa'(Japanese hemp). It is considered to be woven in Oumi, and from pre WWII. Textile has a special kind of stiff touch of asa. This piece has beautiful weft ikat pattern.
It has some small holes and some stains.
But many parts will be an excellent material for handicraft. |
